39 And she had[a] a sister named Mary, who also sat at the feet of Jesus[b] and[c] was listening to his teaching. 40 But Martha was distracted with much preparation, so she approached and[d] said, “Lord, is it not a concern to you that my sister has left me alone to make preparations? Then tell her that she should help me!” 41 But the Lord answered and[e] said to her, “Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things!
